    What you’ll handle

    • Diagnose faults and complete repairs across vehicle systems: steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking, drivetrains, suspensions, power-steering units, clutches, and transmissions.
    • Adjust, test, and when needed rebuild engines; address oil, temperature, and fuel/gas regulating components.
    • Conduct verification test drives to confirm the concern is resolved.
    • Coordinate required inspections and obtain approvals prior to releasing vehicles from the shop.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area that meets all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
    • Document labor time, parts consumed, and all maintenance/repair actions on the designated forms or systems.
    • Perform road calls and on-site roadside repairs as assigned.
    • Escalate additional findings and refer tasks that require a higher technician qualification; alert the Lead Technician to any unsafe practices or vehicle abuse.

    What you bring

    • 2–4 years of medium/heavy truck fleet repair experience.
    • Strong diagnostic capability with electrical systems and A/C—must-haves for this role.
    • Hands-on knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment; experience with both diesel and gasoline platforms.
    • Your own core hand tools appropriate for a Diesel Technician.
    • Sound judgment and confident decision-making.
    • Valid state driver’s license with CDL required.
    • ASE certifications are a plus (not required).
