Fleet Automotive Technician

Position Summary: The Automotive Fleet Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability. We operate a large fleet of vehicles that help keep our team moving efficiently to serve our customers. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Fleet Technician to join our team and help maintain our fleet to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Position Summary: The Automotive Fleet Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, possess current A-Series ASE certifications, and be committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, including light to mid-sized trucks and vans.

· Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.

· Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle in the fleet.

· Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

· Utilize personal tools and equipment to complete work effectively and efficiently.

· Collaborate with other technicians and fleet supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.

· Conduct road tests to ensure proper operation and safety of vehicles.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Work On-Call Duty as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, preferably with fleet vehicles.

· Current A-Series ASE certifications required.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Must supply own tools and toolbox.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Must be able to pass a background check.

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
