The Fixed Operations Director is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the Service, Parts, and Warranty departments. Fixed Operations Director Job Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Service, Parts, and Warranty operations
Drive department profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction scores
Develop and execute plans to increase labor sales, parts sales, retention, and effective labor rates
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement
Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers, advisors, technicians, and support staff
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements
Partner with dealership leadership to establish annual budgets and operational goals
Improve departmental efficiency, productivity, and customer retention initiatives
Oversee warranty administration and ensure accurate processing and reimbursement
Foster a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, employee development, and customer service excellence
Maintain strong relationships with Ford representatives and vendor partners
Implement best practices that improve profitability, workflow, and overall customer experience

Fixed Operations Director Qualifications
7+ years of automotive fixed operations leadership experience
Previous experience managing Service and Parts departments within a dealership environment
Proven success driving department profitability and operational performance
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze departmental statements and KPIs
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ford dealership experience preferred
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
