    JOB TITLE

    Fixed Income Trader (Cash Desk)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Cash Trading Desk works closely with the Low Duration Strategy Team in managing client portfolios across a range of Enhanced Cash strategies. The Cash Trader is responsible for ensuring adequate liquidity within client portfolios to support daily activity, including settlements and cash flows. This individual also partners with teams across the organization to address same-day funding and liquidity needs.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Domestic bond trading
    • Market surveillance, including monitoring economic fundamentals, supply and demand dynamics, seasonal trends, and technical factors that influence portfolio buy/sell decisions
    • Portfolio construction through trade analysis, recommendation, and execution
    • Portfolio monitoring to maintain appropriate structure, sector allocations, and duration targets
    • Understanding account guidelines and monitoring portfolios for compliance requirements
    • Supporting settlement and pricing functions
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage short-term liquidity needs

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2 to 5 years of fixed income trading experience
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong interest in financial markets and economics
    • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
    • Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree required (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
    • CFA designation or progress toward completion required (minimum Level I completed)
