    Description

    As a Fitter Journeyman (a skilled trade professional) here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, mechanical, and building automation systems.

    You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor, and you'll work out our Manchester, NH location on an On-Site work schedule.

    In this role, you will impact the successful implementation and maintenance of building automation systems, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of facilities managed by Honeywell Building Automation.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • 5+ years of Journeyman-level trade experience in HVAC, pipefitting, mechanical fitting, or related fields.
    • 5+ years of relevant mechanical or HVAC experience
    • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
    • 5+ years of experience understanding of mechanical systems, building systems, and safety procedures.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical and HVAC equipment and systems.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Perform fitting tasks according to engineering specifications and project requirements.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs or preventative maintenance.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and applicable codes.
    • Collaborate with field service, engineering, and project teams to complete installations and service activities.
    • Conduct field surveys and collect equipment level information, for equipment replacement and/or upgrades. Provide inputs to the sales team for generating contract or project proposals.
