We're looking for talented fitness professionals who know that great coaching is about more than counting reps. It's about
motivating, connecting, educating, and changing lives.
What You’ll Do
As an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you'll lead members through our science-backed, heart-rate-focused workouts while creating an environment that is energetic, challenging, safe, and fun.
You’ll:
- Lead and motivate members through Orangetheory's pre-designed workouts.
- Create an energetic and inclusive class environment where every member feels successful.
- Help members set and achieve meaningful fitness goals.
- Push members to challenge themselves while knowing when to modify or pull back.
- Monitor form and technique and provide appropriate corrections.
- Offer modifications to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
- Understand and confidently communicate the science behind Orangetheory's workouts and heart-rate-focused training.
- Know how to safely use and demonstrate every piece of equipment used in our workouts.
- Build genuine relationships with members and celebrate their progress.
- Bring positive energy that makes members excited to come back for their next workout.
- Be an active, supportive member of the Cleveland Park coaching team.
What Great Coaching Looks Like
We want coaches who can
command a room without making it about themselves.
You should be able to motivate the person who needs a push, encourage the person who is having a tough day, and recognize the person who just achieved something they didn't think was possible.
You don't just coach the workout.
You coach the person.
Compensation
Coaches earn
$35–$75+ per class, based on class attendance.
The more members you coach, the greater your earning potential.

Mammoth Fitness is the only Orangetheory franchise within the DMV to provide growth opportunities, additional compensation, and title advancement after a minimum of 6 months of employment.

Qualifications
- Current AED/CPR certification.
- Current fitness certification from one of the following:
