POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Health Club Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Health Club during assigned shifts, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members, hotel guests, and employees. This role focuses on delivering consistent guest service, enforcing Health Club policies, maintaining facility standards, and supporting membership access and renewals in alignment with established procedures.
The Health Club Attendant works independently during assigned shifts while escalating complex issues to leadership as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Open and/or close the Health Club in accordance with established SOPs, as scheduled
Greet and assist members, hotel guests, and employees in a friendly and professional manner
Verify membership status and access eligibility for all users
Enforce Health Club policies, including:
Membership and access guidelines
Liability waiver requirements
Guest pass policies and restrictions
Check members, guests, and employees in using EZFacility
Support membership renewals and payment capture at the desk
Conduct regular facility walk‑throughs to ensure:
Equipment sanitation and cleanliness
Organization and presentation of all areas
Adequate stocking of towels and amenities
Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues promptly
Address basic guest concerns and escalate service recovery situations to leadership when appropriate
Complete accurate and detailed shift reports in Microsoft Teams
Maintain consistency between shifts through clear documentation and communication
Support Health Club initiatives, programs, and daily operational needs
