Support Specialist reports to the Accountant.rrGeneral
ResponsibilitiesrrAssist with accounts payable processes including data
entry, document review and reporting.rrReceives, reviews, and audits
invoices to ensure completion, verifies tax codes, calculations, and
additional required information.rrPerforms data entry of various
information, including invoices for payments to the Workday system after
reviewing the documents for accuracy.rrProcess payments and verify for
accuracy.rrMaintains AP records and emails.rrCompiles reports, and other
documents utilizing appropriate software.rrCommunicate with suppliers
and other customers to provide information regarding the status of
payments or other related transactions.rrResearch outstanding unpaid
items and other unresolved issues.rrScan/import/retrieve documents
to/from imaging system.rrAssist with general fiscal operations of the
college.rrFile and maintain departmental documentation.rrOther duties as
assigned.rQualifications:rMinimum Qualificationsrr The formal education
equivalent of a high school diploma with a course in
bookkeeping/accounting, administrative office procedures or a related
