Description

Role: FIS Integrity TMS Consultant

Location Remote

contract to Hire

Pay: $120/hr

Travel: Willingness to travel to client locations when required by an engagement.

Platform Implementation

  • Lead implementations: Manage end-to-end FIS Integrity Treasury Management System implementations, upgrades, and module deployments across client engagements.
  • Configure modules: Configure cash positioning, liquidity management, payments, bank account management, debt, investments, foreign exchange, risk, and treasury reporting.
  • Build integrations: Coordinate or develop interfaces between FIS Integrity and ERP, accounting, banking, market-data, data warehouse, and identity-management platforms.
  • Establish connectivity: Implement SWIFT, API, SFTP, and host-to-host bank connections using formats such as BAI2, MT940, CAMT, and ISO 20022.
  • Migrate data: Support the extraction, cleansing, conversion, validation, and reconciliation of data from legacy treasury systems.
  • Test solutions: Develop test plans and coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, parallel processing, and production-readiness reviews.
  • Support deployment: Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, stabilization, and post-production hypercare.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Gather requirements: Facilitate workshops with treasury, finance, accounting, IT, and banking stakeholders to document business and technical requirements.
  • Assess operations: Analyze current-state treasury processes, system configurations, integrations, controls, and manual workarounds.
  • Design solutions: Translate business requirements into functional designs, configuration workbooks, integration specifications, and future-state workflows.
  • Map financial data: Define bank statement formats, payment files, accounting rules, cash-flow categories, transaction mappings, and general-ledger interfaces.
  • Improve processes: Recommend opportunities to automate cash positioning, forecasting, reconciliation, payments, accounting, and treasury reporting.
  • Maintain documentation: Produce configuration documents, process maps, test scripts, issue logs, training materials, and operating procedures.

Client Delivery & Consulting

  • Support multiple engagements: Serve as a deployable consulting resource across FIS Integrity implementation, optimization, upgrade, and support projects.
  • Manage workstreams: Own assigned functional or technical workstreams while tracking deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Advise clients: Provide guidance on FIS Integrity capabilities, treasury leading practices, financial controls, and implementation decisions.
  • Coordinate stakeholders: Work effectively with client treasury teams, IT departments, banking partners, ERP teams, vendors, and senior project leadership.
  • Train users: Deliver role-based training and knowledge-transfer sessions for end users, power users, and system administrators.
  • Resolve issues: Troubleshoot configuration defects, integration failures, bank connectivity problems, payment exceptions, and reconciliation differences.
  • Contribute to the practice: Develop reusable implementation templates, configuration standards, estimation tools, and lessons learned for future engagements.

Position Requirements

Certifications & Education

  • FIS Integrity certification: Highly preferred.
  • Treasury certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or comparable treasury credential is preferred.
  • Project certification: PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery certification is beneficial.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • Total experience: Approximately 4 to 7 years of experience in treasury technology, corporate treasury, financial systems, or consulting. More senior candidates may also be considered.
  • FIS Integrity experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent, hands-on FIS Integrity implementation experience.
  • Implementation history: Demonstrated participation in multiple FIS Integrity projects, preferably including at least two full implementation lifecycles from requirements through go-live.
  • Configuration experience: Direct experience configuring one or more FIS Integrity modules rather than working solely as an end user or production-support analyst.
  • Treasury operations: Working knowledge of cash management, liquidity, payments, bank account management, forecasting, debt, investments, FX, accounting, and financial controls.
  • Integration experience: Experience connecting FIS Integrity with ERP platforms, banks, payment systems, data warehouses, market-data providers, or identity-management solutions.
  • Consulting experience: Prior experience with a large consulting firm, systems integrator, treasury advisory practice, or enterprise transformation program is preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Bank connectivity: Experience with SWIFT, APIs, SFTP, host-to-host connectivity, payment hubs, and bank communication protocols.
  • Banking formats: Familiarity with BAI2, MT940, CAMT.052/053/054, ISO 20022, ACH, and applicable payment-file formats.
  • ERP platforms: Experience integrating with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft, Costpoint, or comparable ERP/accounting platforms.
  • Reporting and data: Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, data mapping, reconciliation, and interface troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Security and controls: Understanding of user roles, segregation of duties, approval workflows, payment controls, audit requirements, and SSO.
  • Implementation methodology: Ability to create requirements documents, functional designs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, defect logs, cutover plans, and training materials.

Consulting & Interpersonal Skills

  • Client communication: Ability to explain FIS Integrity configurations and technical concepts to treasury and finance stakeholders.
  • Facilitation: Confidence leading requirements workshops, design sessions, testing meetings, and user-training sessions.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to diagnose functional, data, configuration, and connectivity issues across an integrated treasury environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable moving between client projects, project phases, industries, and functional workstreams based on delivery demand.
  • Ownership: Able to manage assigned deliverables independently while escalating risks and issues appropriately.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client locations when required by an engagement.
