First Line Training Compliance Manager

The Boeing Company’s Manufacturing & Safety, Hourly Workforce Planning & Development Teamis currently seeking a First Line Training Compliance Manager to join our team in Renton, WA or Everett, WA.

This position will be responsible for management of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Training Compliance Analysts who provide Training Compliance Audits and Training Compliance Support across all of BCA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages training compliance analysts

  • Leads the team to work cross-functionally to develop and maintain training compliance audits ensuring on-time delivery of training compliance reports, results, and corrective action plan

  • Leads the team to monitor KPI's to identify potential risks, root causes, and continuously improve BCA Training through cross-functional partnerships within the training organization

  • Leads the team to ensure training policies, processes, and procedures are properly being followed across all BCA Training Sites and activities

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies, and procedures and develops technical strategies to improve performance

  • Provides education and coaching on training and production compliance

  • Acquires and manages resources to lead process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Serves as SME (Subject Matter Expert) to all matters pertaining to training and production compliance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

  • 3+ Years of Experience with Project Management

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Capable to work any shift based on the needs of the operation (this role is primarily for first shift, but may occasionally require you to support other shifts based on the needs of the operation)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited Institution and/or equivalent experience

  • Experience working in a training environment

  • Experience working in a production environment

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or Business unit team
