Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Firmware Engineer to support the development and optimization of embedded systems that power advanced technology solutions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, test, and maintain reliable firmware while supporting both new product initiatives and ongoing improvements.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems
- Support the full product development lifecycle from concept through implementation and validation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical requirements and develop effective solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, software, and hardware-related issues
- Conduct testing, validation, and debugging activities to ensure product reliability and performance
- Assist with system integration efforts and technical problem-solving initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and development standards
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements where appropriate
- Support production, quality, and operational teams with technical expertise as needed
- Contribute to project planning, estimating, and execution activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience developing firmware or embedded software solutions
- Strong programming and debugging skills
- Knowledge of embedded systems, hardware/software integration, and system-level problem solving
- Familiarity with software development best practices and testing methodologies
- Experience working in cross-functional technical environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
