Ecommerce Sales Associate - Firearms Department Gunbroker Used Guns - PT
Location: Joe's Sporting Goods in Little Canada

Hours: Part-time hourly
Share your passion for the outdoors while generating sales, providing great customer service and building a loyal customer base. Support Joe's Sporting Goods' ecommerce operations by managing the online sale of used firearms through GunBroker.com. Responsibilities include photographing and accurately listing used firearms, researching competitive pricing, maintaining product information, monitoring auctions and listings, responding to customer inquiries, and packaging/shipping firearms to the appropriate FFL. The position also helps ensure listings and transactions follow Joe's procedures, GunBroker requirements, and applicable firearm sales regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and maintain used firearm listings on GunBroker.com.
- Photograph firearms and prepare clear, accurate product descriptions.
- Research firearm models, specifications, condition, and current market values.
- Establish competitive pricing, starting bids, and Buy Now pricing when applicable.
- Monitor active auctions and listings and make adjustments as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions about listed firearms.
- Process completed GunBroker sales and coordinate orders with appropriate store departments.
- Verify and manage required FFL information and documentation for firearm shipments.
- Coordinate shipping and order fulfillment in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and listing information to prevent overselling or discrepancies.
- Remove or update listings when firearms are sold or otherwise become unavailable.
- Follow GunBroker policies and applicable federal, state, and local firearm sales requirements.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve sell-through, pricing, and profitability.
- Provide a high level of customer service while representing Joe's Sporting Goods professionally online.

- Have good organizational skills and an understanding of basic merchandising.
- Strong computer and ecommerce skills
- Knowledge of firearms and firearm terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Product photography and basic image editing
- Online product listing and merchandising skills
- Pricing and market research abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Strong organization and time management
- Customer service skills
- Ability to learn and follow firearm sales and shipping regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple listings and orders
Requirements:
- 100% "in-office" position
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with great interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Schedule TBD
Education:
- High school, college preferred. Retirees encouraged to apply.
- Merchandising and sales background preferred.
- Experienced hunter
- Training will be provided
