A growing fire protection company is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join a team in the Reno, NV region. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong hands-on sprinkler service experience who is looking for steady work, competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term career growth in the fire protection industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, and antifreeze systems.
Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot and repair wet, dry, and antifreeze fire sprinkler systems
- Inspect sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and alarms
- Test water flow, pressure, and alarms to help ensure system readiness
- Perform preventive maintenance and code compliance checks
- Follow applicable fire codes, building codes, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures
- Travel within the region as needed; occasional overnight stays may be required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler, fire protection, or life safety trades required
- Nevada fire sprinkler licenses preferred
- Backflow knowledge preferred
- MSHA certification preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
