A growing fire protection company is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician out of the Elko, NV region. This is a steady, long-term opportunity for someone with hands-on sprinkler experience who is comfortable working on fire sprinkler systems performing service, repairs, troubleshooting, and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Install fire sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
- Perform work in compliance with applicable fire codes, building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and job documents
- Assist with system modifications, pipe replacement, hangers, fittings, valves, and related sprinkler work
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, supervisors, and other trades
- Travel regionally as needed; overnight stays may be required
Requirements
- 2+ years of fire sprinkler field experience preferred
- Ability to pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen
