Job DetailsWe are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Pipefitters in the Denver Metro Area. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, providing expert advice and guidance on fire sprinkler system installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings and sprinkler plans, installing fire sprinkler systems according to industry best practices, and troubleshooting and repairing existing systems as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pipefitter to apply their expertise in a consulting capacity, helping to ensure the safety and compliance of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and apply construction drawings and sprinkler plans to ensure accurate installation of fire sprinkler systems.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on fire sprinkler installation practices and components.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform pipe fabrication, cutting, threading, grooving, and fitting.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing sprinkler systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Comply with all applicable fire protection codes, regulations, and company procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with project teams, providing input and advice to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Continually update knowledge and skills in line with industry advancements and changes in regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and sprinkler plans.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler installation practices and components.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, with a strong focus on safety.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing existing sprinkler systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform pipe fabrication, cutting, threading, grooving, and fitting.
- Knowledge of all applicable fire protection codes, regulations, and company procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to project teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
