Job Summary/Basic Function:
Maintenance and cleaning of equipment, apparatus and facilities; filling of SCBA cylinders; maintenance and care of training props and equipment; fueling of apparatus; assisting with equipment needs for FIRE220, FIRE102, FIRE211; public relation and any other request for equipment; construction of burn cells for PPA building; other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Firefighter 1 and 2; sophomore status; minimum GPA of 3.0
Preferred Qualifications:
Firefighter 1 and 2; sophomore status; minimum GPA of 3.0
Physical Demands:
Typical demands at the university exist, with the ability to stand for up to 3 hours in a single session. Lift 40 pounds, walk, stand, kneel, move large objects.
