Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Fire Extinguisher Service & Inspection Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers a combination of shop and field work, servicing fire extinguishers in our shop and performing inspections and service at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Service, recharge, repair, and maintain fire extinguishers in the shop.
- Perform routine fire extinguisher inspections at customer locations.
- Identify deficiencies and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Complete inspection tags, reports, and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Follow applicable safety requirements, codes, standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- No previous fire extinguisher experience required—we provide training.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Field Service Management software experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers and equipment.
- Ascend and descend a ladder or stairs.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and physical ability test.
