    Fire Alarm Technician – Fire & Life Safety Systems

    Quincy, MA | Full-Time | Field Service Technician (Inspections and Service)


    Career Staffing Talent (CST) is partnering with a nationally recognized fire safety company to hire an experienced Fire Alarm Technician in the Quincy area. This is an immediate opportunity to join a growing team that values your expertise and invests in your future.


    Responsibilities

    • Install, program, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial buildings
    • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety codes
    • Diagnose and resolve system issues; replace components as needed
    • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
    • Communicate clearly with clients regarding system performance and service
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
    • Follow OSHA and company safety protocols
    • Stay current on evolving fire codes and emerging technologies


    Qualifications

    • Massachusetts Fire Alarm License (Rhode Island license a plus)
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and service
    • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and regulatory standards
    • Proficiency with system programming tools and diagnostic equipment
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and commitment to quality
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred


    Physical & Scheduling Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated/confined spaces
    • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel
