Training will be provided for the best-qualified applicant who may lack some of the desired experiences outlined below.What we offerMedical Dental Vision InsuranceAdditional Voluntary Insurance Programs401KProfit-Sharing PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanCompetitive pay range commensurate with educationspecialized training and experienceFire Alarm Installation and ServiceThe function of this position is to provide reliable high-quality customer support through on-site inspecting installing troubleshooting repairing andor replacing fire alarm equipment as well as conducting preventative maintenance services pertaining to many different manufacturers equipment.The pay range is 30-45 hr. depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.Job ResponsibilitiesPersonal organization is necessary to meet deadline-driven tasks in a timely mannerCommunication skills for customer interaction consistent with USA Fires stated PurposeMissionValuesConduct installations inspections testing maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems per NFPA standardsAbility to assist in the sale and design of Fire Alarm SystemsJob QualificationsGeneral computer knowledge and skills Programming certifications in Gamewell Silent Knight andor Fire-Lite a plus but not requiredAbility to verbally communicate clearly on job sites and in construction meetingsAbility to safely navigate construction sites unescortedSafely climb laddersWear standard personal protective equipment as required by the USA Fire Safety Manual and OSHA on construction sitesAbility to lift at least 25 pounds and work on overhead equipment.Prospective Employees must submit to and pass a Background check and drug screening prior to employment.Required ExperienceAdvanced operational knowledge of fire alarm systemsNICET Certification in Fire Alarm SystemsFamiliarity with the basic operational knowledge of fire alarm systemsEqual Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans.
