    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Superintendent / Foreman to lead and oversee fire alarm installation work on high-level commercial construction projects in the Dallas, TX area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing fire alarm systems, the ability to confidently read and interpret construction plans, and a proven background working on complex commercial projects, particularly hospital and healthcare facilities.

    This role is ideal for a field leader who can take ownership of fire alarm installations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to project specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead fire alarm installation crews on commercial construction projects.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and oversee fire alarm systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, fire alarm plans, and project specifications.
    • Coordinate installation activities with other trades, project management, and the General Contractor.
    • Ensure fire alarm systems are installed correctly and according to project requirements.
    • Review plans and identify potential installation issues before they impact project progress.
    • Manage daily field activities, manpower, materials, and installation schedules.
    • Monitor project progress and maintain quality and productivity standards.
    • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and jobsite requirements.
    • Assist with inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and system turnover.
    • Communicate project updates, challenges, and material needs to project management.
    • Provide leadership and direction to installers and field personnel.
