    Century Fire Protection is looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems. This is a hands-on field role for someone who takes pride in solving problems, delivering quality work, and providing great customer service.

    ️ What You'll Do

    • Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems
    • Diagnose system issues and complete timely, accurate repairs
    • Program and configure fire alarm control panels and devices
    • Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and compliance forms
    • Identify deficiencies and communicate repair needs with customers
    • Coordinate with project managers, service coordinators, and inspectors
    • Maintain company tools, testing equipment, and service vehicles
    • Follow NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety procedures
    • Participate in the on-call rotation and emergency service response

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-3 years of fire alarm or life safety experience preferred
    • Technical training or certifications preferred
    • NICET Fire Alarm certification preferred or required based on state requirements
    • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire codes
    • Experience with fire alarm panels, devices, and testing equipment
    • Notifier or similar manufacturer experience preferred
    • Basic Microsoft Office, mobile software, and computer skills

    The Job

    • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces
    • Work at commercial, industrial, and multi-family properties
    • Work in varying weather, noise, and electrical environments
    • Occasional overtime and on-call work may be required
