We have a need for self-motivated customer service-oriented Inspectors with strong written and verbal communication skills. The Inspector will provide accurate and detailed inspection reports with all proper documentation of improvements and existing conditions.The salary range for this position is 70000-80000 per year depending on experience and certifications.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections testing services and preventative maintenance of life safety and fire suppression equipmentHandle low voltage wiring and corresponding devices for the operation of low voltage equipmentResponsible for operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections.Daily communications with Project Manager andor Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays requirements and general status of jobWork with Project Manager Schedule Coordinator and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client confirm work is completed to it can be billed in full.Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures system inspection and report accuracyMust comply with all company Safety standards and existing company policiesWilling to work nights and weekends as needed.Job QualificationsMinimum of 5-years of experience as a fire alarm technicianNSFM F CardStrong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codesStrong working knowledge of alarm panels devices and critical componentsPossess a valid drivers license in accordance with Company policyClean appearance and reliable transportation in accordance with Company Health & Safety PocketbookRequired to pass drug screen background check and reference checkAble to complete documentation as necessary proficient in the use of iPads and programs as required by companyCapability to present information and respond to questions from managers customers AHJs Authorities Having Jurisdiction and the general publicJob QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodationRegular bending reaching climbing and walkingAll qualified applicants with Western States Fire Protection Company will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation and gender identity national origin or status as a qualified individual with a disability or protected veteran.VEVRAA Federal ContractorAccessibility If you need help accessing this page please contact Phone 1-877-252-2168Email
