    Overview

    Site EHS professional responsible for instilling a superior safety culture, supporting site TCOS initiatives, and maintaining Safety and Environmental compliances

    Responsibilities

    • Attend supervisor and crew meetings, support and occasionally lead toolbox talks and monthly safety training
    • Ensure regular (daily) visibility with employees in their department and act as a resource to offer guidance for performing tasks safely
    • Build training with focus on TCOS concepts
    • Promote TCOS concepts & drive initiatives outlined in the division safety plan. Champion improved safety practices with ALD Finishing employees
    • Assist in the development and implementation of safety controls
    • Coordinating, conducting, and tracking monthly safety training/events
    • Participation in New Hire orientation and training
    • Safety alert distribution and preparation
    • Perform safety audits and walk-throughs and communicate the results
    • JSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and Risk Assessment development and revisions
    • Incident investigation, review, and follow-up.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
    • Highly effective communication skills
    • Travel requirements - intercompany, education, & benchmarking
    • Background in Environmental Compliance
    • Excellent computer skills, preferably in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 5-8 years of experience in a safety-related field.
