Job Title: Financial Systems Associate Director - Sage Intacct

Day-to-Day

• Lead the Sage Intacct reimplementation, including system design, configuration standards, implementation priorities, testing, and production readiness.
• Assess existing workflows, dimensions, approvals, controls, and data structures; identify where the current setup needs to be redesigned.
• Build and own the finance systems roadmap, balancing immediate operational needs with scalability and future growth.
• Define the functional architecture for integrations, including data ownership, systems of record, and auditable data flows.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and implementation consultants to turn business requirements into practical system designs.
• Lead and mentor the Finance Systems Administrators and Analysts, setting priorities and establishing standards for documentation, testing, and change management.
• Provide hands-on guidance or directly configure complex ERP components when senior expertise is needed.

Musts:

• 5+ years working with cloud ERP systems, including hands-on configuration and optimization.
• Experience leading an ERP implementation, reimplementation, or major redesign.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, including how workflows, dimensions, approvals, and controls should be supported in an ERP.
• Ability to own a systems roadmap and design scalable solutions across an integrated finance environment.
• Experience guiding analysts or administrators and working directly with Finance, IT, and Operations leaders.
• California residence for the contract-to-hire arrangement.

Pluses:

• Deep Sage Intacct experience, especially with a reimplementation or substantial redesign.
• Nonprofit experience, including multi-entity structures and complex funding streams.
• Salesforce and Workato integration experience.
• Experience implementing finance automation or AI-enabled finance tools.
