    Lineville Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Financial Specialist / Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and business office functions of our facility.

    You don't have to come to us knowing everything about healthcare finance.

    We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in business, bookkeeping, accounting, billing, office management, or finance who is organized, comfortable with numbers, good with people, and ready to learn.

    Already have healthcare billing experience? We'd love to talk with you.

    Experienced bookkeeper or office professional ready for something new? Your skills may transfer very well.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Manage day-to-day business office and financial operations

    • Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and collections

    • Learn and manage Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and other payer processes

    • Monitor resident accounts and outstanding balances

    • Maintain accurate financial and billing records

    • Assist residents and families with billing and account questions

    • Prepare reports and track financial information

    • Review accounts for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies

    • Work closely with facility and regional leadership

    • Maintain organized records and confidential financial information

    • Use Excel and company systems to track and analyze information

    • Help keep the business office organized, accurate, and running smoothly

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

    • Good organization and time-management skills

    • Strong customer service and communication skills

    • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

    • Ability to learn new software and processes

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    • Professional, dependable, and willing to take ownership of the role

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

    EXPERIENCE THAT CAN TRANSLATE WELL

    We'd especially like to hear from candidates with experience in:

    Bookkeeping or Accounting

    Banking or Financial Services

    Billing or Collections

    Healthcare Administration

    Medical Office Operations

    Office or Business Management

    ️ Payroll or Accounts Receivable

    Healthcare experience is a plus—but we're willing to consider strong candidates from other industries whose skills translate well.

    EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

    • Bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required

    • Relevant experience may substitute for formal education

    RECENT GRADUATES ARE WELCOME
