Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Financial Advisor to join our established investment advisory firm located in Poway, California. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and will possess a strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, providing expert financial advice, and contributing to the growth of our firm.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Consultation:
o    Conduct comprehensive meetings with clients to assess their financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance.
o    Analyze clients' financial situations and gather relevant information to create tailored financial plans.
  1. Financial Planning:
o    Develop and implement customized financial strategies that align with clients' short-term and long-term objectives.
o    Recommend suitable investment products, insurance solutions, retirement plans, and estate planning options.
  1. Investment Management:
o    Monitor clients' investment portfolios, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
o    Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and emerging investment opportunities.
  1. Relationship Management:
o    Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
o    Provide ongoing support, including regular portfolio reviews and performance updates.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
o    Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity.
o    Prepare and present comprehensive reports on clients' financial performance and progress toward their goals.
  1. Business Development:
o    Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
o    Participate in networking events and marketing initiatives to attract potential clients.
  1. Continuous Learning:
o    Stay updated on financial products, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
o    Pursue relevant certifications and professional development opportunities.
Note: This role is not solely focused on cold lead generation; you will also have access to an established book of business to support your client outreach and sales efforts. 
 
 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Series 65 license preferred; additional relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial planning software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of investment strategies and financial products.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management tools.
Work Environment:
  • This position will be based in our Poway office, with opportunities for remote work as appropriate. Some travel may be required for client meetings and networking events.
Compensation:
  • Salary base pay range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus commissions, bonuses, and benefits.
