Job Highlights

• Monitor account balances to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Review accounts to confirm collections align with contract allowable payment schedules
• Follow up on claims with payers to secure reimbursement
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate charge credits and debits

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare or hospital billing, including knowledge of governmental payer eligibility requirements
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient financial matters
• Experience with billing systems/editors and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of EPIC application preferred
