We are hiring a Financial Services Representative to join our South Durango branch team and serve as a trusted resource for our members. In this role, you'll work face‑to‑face with members to support their financial needs, provide personalized service, and build long‑term relationships within the community. This is an in‑branch position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and delivering a high level of service in a welcoming, team‑oriented environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Greet members, assist with transactions, and provide exceptional in‑branch service
  • Open new accounts and maintain existing member relationships
  • Interview members and process consumer loan applications
  • Cross‑sell Credit Union products and services based on member needs
  • Educate members on ATM usage, mobile app features, and online banking tools
  • Support branch opening and closing procedures and assist with audits
  • Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity and follow reporting procedures

What We're Looking For:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a financial institution, or strong customer service and sales experience
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with members
  • Comfortable using multiple systems and learning new technology
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a branch environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with consumer lending and account services
  • Sales‑driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to troubleshoot digital banking and mobile app issues
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher
