Location: 1000 Yard Street, H Building - Grandview Heights, OH
Work set-up: Hybrid (2 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days at home)
Pay Rate: $19/Hour | Paid Weekly
Target Start Date: 09/07/2026, pending completion of new hire onboarding
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; Regular business hours
Assignment Length:12 months, potential for extension/conversion pending attendance, performance and business need
Position Summary:
Provides prompt, efficient service for assigned product internal and external customers. Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other enterprise operating units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to inquiries from customers, brokers, agents, and government agencies through oral and written communication.
- Assists customers with financial transactions and processes monetary transactions according to policy provisions within assigned limits.
- Consults on contract provisions and interprets policies for customers, agents, brokers, and other departments.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of contract/product provisions, processing systems, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Resolves routine errors, identifies issues requiring advanced knowledge, and refers complex situations to senior team members as needed.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Recent degree in finance, business, insurance, economics, or communications preferred
- Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of general office practices, customer service, office equipment, and familiarity with insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds).
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic mathematics, and proficiency in office filing systems and record-keeping procedures.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management, along with the ability to prioritize tasks.
