What the Role Delivers
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role works closely with the Global Controller, Assistant Controller, both the Corporate and International accounting teams, ensuring high-quality reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate brings a combination of public accounting experience, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to drive ownership and accountability within the team. Experience with SAP and global consolidations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Lead the preparation of monthly management financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow.
Lead and enhance the financial close process, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness
Coach a team of senior accountants, driving accountability, ownership, and professional growth
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance
Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, tax, operations, HR, Sales and Marketing, Legal) and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Lead global consolidation processes across multiple business units and legal entities
Oversee foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation adjustments
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting entities
Maintain and enhance consolidation processes and supporting documentation
Identify and participate in new system implementation, process improvements and automation opportunities
Prepare monthly balance sheet review for CFO
Prepare reporting packages by entity
Ensure compliance with evolving U.S. GAAP standards, local statutory reporting requirements, conduct independent accounting research on new and unusual business transactions and help implement global accounting policies
Support external audits and act as a primary liaison with auditors
