Description

Kforce has a client in Media, PA that is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to support financial reporting, financial statement preparation, accounting compliance, and reporting process improvements. This role is responsible for preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and internal reporting requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with financial reporting, audits, and compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist with SEC reporting activities, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K filings, and related disclosures as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and reporting standards
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial statement variances
  • Prepare financial statement footnotes and management reporting packages
  • Coordinate audit requests and provide supporting documentation for internal and external auditors
  • Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business teams to analyze and explain financial results
  • Support SOX compliance activities and internal control requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and efficiency
  • Assist with special projects, system implementations, and finance transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SEC reporting experience
  • CPA certification or CPA candidate
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance and audit activities
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or NetSuite
  • Public accounting or corporate financial reporting experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
