Description

Financial Reporting Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for a Financial Reporting Analyst position at a highly successful financial services firm located in Quincy, MA. The Financial Reporting Analyst will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning related to third-party risk management and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of financial reporting experience with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning in financial services.

This is a 6-9+ month contract position paying between $40-$50/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate third-party risk management and procurement processes surrounding intake, sourcing coordination, contract renewals, supplier management, vendor spend governance, and purchase order support.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analysis.
  • Ensure financial tracking, planning and targets are aligned with company goals. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including global technology, finance, procurement, human resources and third-party risk management.
  • Identify and resolve problems and contribute to process improvement.
  • Review and evaluate current tools in support of budgeting and planning processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or related field (required).
  • 3-5+ years of financial reporting experience with strong budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning focus in financial services.
  • Previous experience using Power BI, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, Power Apps, and Power Automate, and AI tools.
  • Previous experience with Beeline or similar budget/procurement platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
