Job Summary/Purpose:
Step into a high‑impact role where your public accounting experience and technical expertise truly make a difference. As an Accountant on Entergy’s External Reporting team, you’ll take the lead on complex, high‑visibility financial reporting that shapes how we communicate with regulators, investors, and key stakeholders.
In this role, you will drive the preparation of SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q) and play a pivotal part in other external reporting requirements, including FERC reporting, benefits reporting, and specialized regulatory filings. You’ll apply your technical accounting knowledge to research and interpret evolving U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements, ensuring our reporting remains accurate and compliant.
This position applies strong technical accounting and disclosure expertise to research complex SEC and U.S. GAAP issues, collaborates closely with external auditors, and contributes to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from an External Reporting perspective.
