    Job Description

    We are looking for a FinancialProject Analyst to support the Product Construction team by providing financial oversight, portfolio reporting, governance support, and actionable business insights across project portfolios. The Financial Project Analyst will partner with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and leadership teams to maintain accurate financial data, monitor project and portfolio performance, and support informed decision-making. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, FL.

    Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

    What You'll Do

    • Support project financial planning, budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and estimate-at-completion activities

    • Monitor actual costs, commitments, purchase orders, invoices, labor expenditures, accruals, resource costs, and forecasted spending

    • Prepare financial reports, budget health summaries, reconciliations, and risk assessments for project teams and leadership

    • Identify budget risks, cost overruns, data discrepancies, and reconciliation issues while providing recommendations for resolution

    • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, scorecards, budget summaries, reporting packages, and tracking tools using Excel, Power BI, and related platforms

    • Consolidate project, program, and system data into accurate and reliable reporting structures

    • Analyze spending trends, forecasting performance, resource utilization, and overall portfolio health

    • Translate complex or fragmented data into concise, leadership-ready insights and recommendations

    • Validate project and financial data across systems including Oracle Fusion, JDE, Power BI, Excel, Workfront, Jira, and SharePoint

    • Maintain financial workbooks, project repositories, reporting templates, governance documentation, and budget trackers

    • Support change requests, budget impact assessments, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and reporting cadences

    • Improve reporting accuracy, audit readiness, data quality, and process efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives

    • Serve as a financial and governance resource for Project Managers across active project portfolios

    • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Program Management, and leadership teams to resolve reporting and financial issues

    • Support financial reviews, project health reviews, leadership presentations, and stakeholder follow-up activities

    What You'll Need

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field

    • 5+ years of experience supporting project financials, portfolio administration, project controls, reporting, or financial analysis

    • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, validation, and reporting

    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

    • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, systems, and priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to transform ambiguous information into structured reporting and actionable insights

    Preferred:

    • Experience working within a PMO, portfolio governance, Mission Control, or enterprise project environment

    • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, JDE, SAP, Workfront, Jira, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar enterprise platforms

    • Experience supporting CAPEX projects, capital requests, procurement processes, purchase orders, invoices, or financial reconciliations

    • Experience collaborating with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, and project delivery teams

    • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership audiences

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other standards

    • Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional movement around the office

    • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

    $40-$45 per hour

    The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
