An established and rapidly growing wealth management practice is seeking an experienced Planning & Portfolio Specialist to serve as a true second chair to the lead Wealth Advisor. This newly created role offers the opportunity to combine comprehensive financial planning, portfolio management, investment operations, and meaningful client interaction while taking increasing ownership within a growing practice.
Develop comprehensive financial plans and recommendations based on client goals, retirement needs, investments, tax considerations, and wealth distribution strategies.
Prepare for and participate in client meetings, confidently communicating planning and investment recommendations.
Monitor client portfolios, market conditions, interest rates, and cash needs while identifying opportunities for adjustments.
Support portfolio implementation and investment management, including tax-efficient strategies and tax-loss harvesting when appropriate.
Serve as a trusted resource for clients and step in confidently when the lead advisor is unavailable.
Execute money movement and ensure planning, investment, and client requests are completed accurately and timely.
Maintain accurate client information across financial planning and CRM systems while collaborating with the broader team to deliver a high-touch client experience.
Take increasing ownership of select client relationships as the practice continues to grow.
5+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
Strong knowledge of comprehensive financial planning and investments
Series 7 required or ability to obtain within 90 days; Series 66 preferred
CFP® designation strongly preferred
Proven experience working directly with clients and communicating financial recommendations
Experience with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, PX/Planning Analysis, or similar financial planning technology
Experience with tax-efficient distribution strategies, tax-loss harvesting, and/or insurance planning is a plus
Proactive, dependable, service-oriented professional who takes ownership and follows through
Competitive base salary based on experience
