Financial Planning Analyst
- Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm Location: Downers Grove, IL
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial reporting for decision support. Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting/ budget.
- Variance analysis by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Report generation on monthly qtrly basis for various internal customers
- Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for financial improvement, optimize resource utilization, and drive value within service lines.
- Assist Director of Finance in Ad Hoc requests
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Intermediate level of knowledge with Microsoft PowerPoint, and basic level of knowledge with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- A good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to make progress with projects assigned and bring them towards successful completion.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Economics
- CPA certification helpful, but not required
- 2-4 years relevant work experience
- Healthcare experience desirable
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $58K-$87K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
