    Position Summary

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis supports the Chief Compliance Officer by providing financial insight and analysis focused on Milestone's assisted living communities. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role builds and maintains financial models, monitors community-level performance, and uses sound judgment to identify opportunities for business improvement across the assisted living portfolio.

This is a hands-on analytical role with portfolio-wide visibility. The FP&A Manager provides direct analytical support to community leadership and the Senior Leadership team on matters related to independent living, assisted living, and memory care financial performance, and serves as the coordination point between Milestone, its communities, and third party accounting services on payables and general accounting matters. The role balances rigorous analysis with operational partnership: models are built to be used, reporting is distributed proactively rather than on request, and anomalies are surfaced early enough to be corrected.

The FP&A Manager exemplifies Milestone's three core values — Compassion, Innovation, and Accountability — in every interaction with Team Members, community leaders, vendors, and Support Center partners. Financial work in senior living is never abstract: every number represents a resident's home, a Team Member's schedule, and a community's ability to deliver care.

    Our Core Values in Practice

    Core Value

How It Shows Up in This Role

    Compassion

We lead with empathy and genuine care. The FP&A Manager remembers that budgets, rent increases, and staffing models affect residents and Team Members directly, presents financial findings without blame, and supports community leaders in understanding their numbers rather than simply reporting on them.

    Innovation

We seek better ways to work. The FP&A Manager improves and automates forecasting and reporting tools, replaces manual workarounds with durable models, and brings forward analysis leadership did not know to ask for.

    Accountability

We own our outcomes. The FP&A Manager delivers accurate work on committed dates, digs to root cause rather than reporting symptoms, escalates anomalies to the Chief Compliance Officer promptly, and stands behind every number presented to Senior Leadership.
