Financial Operations Supervisor – Remote

Florida-based Fortune 500 company 

ARC Group is recruiting for a Financial Operations Supervisor for a permanent, fully remote opportunity with our Florida-based client.

This position provides leadership and oversight for a team of approximately 20 Financial Representatives working in a high-volume financial operations environment. The team processes approximately 500–1,000 checks and financial transactions per day involving provider overpayments, refunds, debt collections, claims adjustments, and related financial activities.

The Supervisor works closely with Team Leads who manage the day-to-day workflow and is responsible for team performance, quality, coaching, KPI management, and reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop a team of approximately 20 Financial Representatives, with support from Team Leads.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide coaching, and manage employee performance and development.
  • Monitor team and individual KPIs, productivity, quality, and operational performance.
  • Oversee high-volume processing of provider overpayments, refunds, payments, debt collections, and claims adjustments.
  • Review and analyze financial data and reports prepared by Team Leads to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash receipts, collections, reconciliations, and related financial transactions.
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and process issues and ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting by reviewing and validating data provided to the financial reporting team.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within established deadlines, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with training, process improvements, audits, special projects, and changing business requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial and operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. High school diploma required. 
  • Previous supervisory, management, or team leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a team in a high-volume production or transaction-processing environment.
  • Background in accounting, financial operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, banking, insurance, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Experience monitoring KPIs and using performance data to coach and manage employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a remote team.

Preferred Experience

  • Medicare or healthcare financial operations.
  • Insurance claims or provider financial operations.
  • Provider overpayments or debt recovery.
  • Accounts receivable, collections, cash receipts, or reconciliation.
  • Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) activities.
  • HIGLAS or other healthcare financial systems.
  • Experience working with financial data used for monthly or quarterly reporting.
