Financial Operations Specialist

Location: Jacksonville, Florida (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

This position is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support. The role involves providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency.
• Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions.
• Proactively identifies risk and opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensures transfer requests are initiated accurately and in accordance with rules and regulations.
• Escalates potential events that may impact the transfer flow.
• Identifies and communicates continuous improvement opportunities to the management team.
• Documents and maintains procedures.

Work Schedule

• Training: 5 days onsite.
• First 6 months: 4 days onsite.
• After 6 months, possibility of 3 days onsite can be discussed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to make timely, risk-based decisions to minimize negative outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building skills that enable team collaboration.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, tailored to the audience.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve complex problems independently.
• Ability to adapt quickly based on coaching and evolving job responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial operations experience.
• Experience providing white-glove client service.
• Skills in prioritization and research.
• Account management experience.
• Experience with coaching or mentoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
