    Financial Management Analyst

    Job Summary

    KBR is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support a complex portfolio of international security cooperation and acquisition programs in Huntsville, Alabama. This position serves as a subject matter expert in financial management and provides planning, analysis, justification, presentation, execution, and reporting activities for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), Building Partnership Capacity (BPC), Special Defense Acquisition Fund (SDAF), Funded Reimbursable Authority (FRA), and related funding sources. The role supports multiple Department of War acquisition programs and weapon system portfolios, including Javelin, Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM), TOW, and Hydra systems, representing significant program value and funding execution requirements. Working across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, the analyst collaborates with program leadership, functional teams, and government stakeholders to ensure effective financial stewardship and mission execution. This position plays a critical role in aligning financial resources with program objectives while supporting strategic decision-making and long-range planning.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Perform short-range and long-range financial planning, programming, budgeting, forecasting, and funding analysis for assigned acquisition programs.
    • Analyze, monitor, and execute FMS, USAI, BPC, SDAF, FRA, and other appropriated funding sources in support of program objectives.
    • Develop financial reports, briefings, budget exhibits, and executive-level presentations for government and program leadership.
    • Track obligations, expenditures, commitments, and execution metrics across a large portfolio of weapon system programs and cases.
    • Conduct financial reviews and reconcile funding data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
    • Support budget formulation activities, funding requests, reprogramming actions, and resource allocation decisions.
    • Provide financial guidance to program managers and functional stakeholders regarding funding availability, execution status, and fiscal constraints.
    • Assess financial impacts of program changes, emerging requirements, and acquisition milestones throughout the program lifecycle.
    • Coordinate with contracting, logistics, engineering, and acquisition teams to align financial resources with mission requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned in support of mission and business requirements.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
    • Active Secret Clearance OR the ability to obtain and maintain.
    • 2+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, or program financial support.
    • Experience supporting government-funded programs, contracts, or acquisition efforts.
    • Experience preparing financial reports, budget documentation, and funding analyses.
    • Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools for data analysis and reporting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
    • Experience with USAI, BPC, SDAF, FRA, or other security assistance funding sources.
    • Experience supporting Department of War acquisition programs or ACAT I weapon system programs.
    • Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
    • Experience supporting missile, munitions, or defense weapon system portfolios
