Description

Summary:

  • Location: Within a 50-mile radius of Manassas, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge all purchase orders, obtain proper insurance certificates, assure terms and conditions are presented to customers, and send order acknowledgements to customer/distributor
  • Communicate with Contracts if legal review is required
  • Reconcile all purchase orders/BidMan orders to align with Scope & dollars quoted
  • Confirm labor & material costs & invoice orders via Oracle Project Costing
  • Manage backlog
  • Assist the District Operations Manager with Risk Review and Forecasting Analysis
  • Provide world-class customer support and build positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Follow up on quotes for emergency work and/or field repairs
  • Support Scheduling/Order Management Coordinators and DOC as needed
  • Manage office, shipping, and receiving
  • Open & maintain orders on system to include tracking & reconciliation of associated costs for projects/jobs against quoted scope
  • Act as Buyer for projects and obtain quotes to purchase/order project materials & test equipment via Oracle Purchasing and/or Vista interunit orders
  • Schedule and organize field service personnel for all customer jobs within the district for optimal cost & training opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with cost accounting and general business experience/background
  • Company will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position
  • No relocation is being offered for this position

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or Engineering
  • Knowledge of power distribution, control products, as well as field service practices and procedures, employee relations, and quality programs
