    FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
    Puerto Rico • USD $90,000 - $110,000 per year
     
    ABOUT THE ROLE
    We are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller for a hospitality group in Puerto Rico. This is a multi-entity role covering hotel operations, a condominium and HOA, and a parking operation, with full ownership of separate P&L statements, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control across all entities. Hotel experience is not required - candidates with a condominium or residential finance background are equally welcome.
     
    WHAT YOU'LL DO
    • Manage full financial operations across multiple entities, including hotel, HOA, and parking
    • Prepare and maintain separate P&L statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for each entity
    • Oversee payroll administration, reconciliations, tax reporting, and labour compliance
    • Serve as Treasurer of the condominium association: oversee funds, reserve accounts, collections, and board reporting
    • Coordinate annual audits, tax compliance, and banking relationships
    • Supervise a General Accountant and liaise with external service providers
    • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the General Manager and ownership
     
    WHAT YOU BRING
    • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance role
    • Background in hospitality, condominium, HOA, or residential operations — hotel experience not required
    • Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
    • Familiarity with Puerto Rico labour regulations, tax requirements, and condominium law preferred
    • Hands-on, proactive approach - comfortable leading a lean team and staying close to the details
    • CPA or equivalent designation preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Must be based in or willing to relocate within Puerto Rico - no mainland US relocation support
     
    WHAT'S OFFERED
    • USD $90,000 - $110,000 per year
