Financial Controller (Construction)

Construction Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Construction Financial Controller to oversee financial operations for a growing construction company. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Controller role and a strong understanding of construction accounting, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, cash flow management, job costing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Manage construction accounting, job costing, and WIP schedules.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, project profitability, and financial performance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Support project teams and senior leadership with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial records, internal controls, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience with WIP reporting, job costing, cash flow forecasting, and project financials.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with construction accounting software preferred.
