Overview

We are seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager with manufacturing experience to oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations. This role requires a hands-on professional who can own the financials and support day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing-related financial reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Work closely with ownership and operations on financial insights and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment A MUST

• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management

• Experience with accounting systems; NetSuite experience a plus

• Detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on

• Able to work full-time, in-office in Brooklyn
