Financial Associate Advisor

Youre detail-oriented, comfortable with investment accounts, and enjoy making the behind-the-scenes work of financial planning run smoothly. At Bennett & Porter, youll play an important role in helping financial and insurance professionals deliver thoughtful, well-organized service to their clients.

As our Financial Associate Advisor, you will process money movements, open and fund accounts, track retirement rollovers, prepare financial plans, and maintain organized client records. Youll also work with tax forms, required minimum distributions, Social Security analyses, life insurance quotes, and annuity renewals. Accuracy matters here because your work helps advisors stay organized and clients move forward with confidence.

You'll work fully remotely with a team that values collaboration, supportive leadership, and professional development. Although you'll need a solid foundation in financial planning and investment accounts, training is provided on the firm's specialized technology systems.

The company covers 100% of employee medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, with the option to add dependents at your expense. You'll also receive PTO and most government holidays off, with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. This role will start in-office with the option to move remote after an initial 3 month training period.

• Process wires, ACH transfers, distributions, and account updates.
• Prepare tax forms, including K-1s and 1099s.
• Open and fund Fidelity and Schwab accounts.
• Track IRA, 401(k), and ACAT rollovers.
• Build financial plans and proposals using planning software.
• Calculate required minimum distributions and manage quarterly fund redemptions.
• Run insurance illustrations, Social Security analyses, and annuity renewals.

• 3+ years of financial planning and investments experience.
• Working knowledge of investment accounts and account transfer processes.
• Knowledge of indexed cash-value life insurance policies.
• Comfortable learning new technology and software systems.
• Life and securities licenses, including Series 6 or 7, required
• CFP designation, highly preferred.
• Able to manage client service tasks and financial planning workflows accurately and independently.
• Prior experience with AI tools preferred
