Description
Elevate Agency Operations. Support Justice.
The County of Santa Clara Office of the District Attorney is a premier public agency, renowned for strategic leadership, innovative prosecution, and a steadfast commitment to justice. With nearly 1.9 million residents, Santa Clara County is the largest of the nine Bay Area counties in Northern California, and larger than 12 states. With about 600 staff-including more than 180 prosecutors-this office reviews more than 35,000 cases for filing each year, prosecuting violent crimes, cybercrime, public corruption, misdemeanors, and consumer fraud while advancing transformative justice reform.
We're seeking a dynamic leader to reinforce the financial and administrative backbone that supports the important work of our office.
Your Mission
As Financial and Administrative Services Manager within the Office of the District Attorney, you'll guide our Office's financial, budgetary, and administrative infrastructure. Reporting to County of Santa Clara District Attorney Jeff Rosen, you'll support the DA's mission by providing essential operational stability and strategic insight.
You'll manage multiple units through subordinate managers, collaborating with executive leadership to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and organizational equity across all internal support functions.
What Makes This Role Unique
Justice-Centered Impact
You'll safeguard the integrity and functionality of critical support systems that enable our deputy DAs, investigators, lab analysts, victim advocates, and administrative professionals to do their best work.
A Hub for Collaboration
You will collaborate across County internal service departments-Employee Services, Finance, County Counsel, Procurement, Facilities, and more-to advance our Office's work while aligning with Countywide policies and laws.
Innovation and Reform
Working within a nationally recognized reform-driven District Attorney's Office, you'll lead efforts to integrate data, analytics, and technology to improve operations-from case management to resource allocation.
Equity at Work
As part of an organization that values diversity-where 39% of prosecutors identify as African American, Latino/a, or Asian, and women represent about half of the staff-you'll ensure our administrative processes support fair and inclusive outcomes.
Leadership Presence
You'll represent the DA's Office with the Board of Supervisors, County Executive's Office, and County leadership-advising on budgets, staffing, systems modernization, and compliance within stringent legal and fiscal environments.
