Financial Analyst
Location: Worcester, MA 01608
Schedule: 100% Onsite, 5 Days per Week
Salary: Up to $110,000
CFS is partnering with a growing construction-focused organization seeking a driven Financial Analyst to support financial planning, project analysis, and operational decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with project teams and leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Analyze project financial performance, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor job costs, margins, and project profitability
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project forecasts and reporting packages
- Review and analyze WIP (Work-in-Progress) schedules
- Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
- Partner with project managers and operations leaders to provide financial insights
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Track key project metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience
- Construction industry experience is required
- Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and WIP reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
