JOB SUMMARY
Purpose:
Responsible for growing business performance through analysis of financial results, budgets, forecasts, variances, and trends; aids in capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes and performs industry research to support internal financial analysis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides financial budgeting/forecasting, reporting, and project support to executive management
· Produces reports that include key metrics, financial results, operational performance & variance reporting
· Analyzes financial data and creates models for assessment
· Reports financial performance of company for executive management review
· Collaborates with accounting team to ensure accurate reporting
· Identifies and drives process improvements for increasing productivity
· Develop and provide tools & models for management to make strong business & strategic decisions
· Performs market research and data mining
· Executes special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis for management
· Leads the annual budgeting process
· Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Work Experience: 5+ years of business accounting/finance in manufacturing or construction
Related Experience:
· Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities, accuracy, and precision
· Collaboratively focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas & functions
· Attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certifications: MBA and/or CPA or equivalent
Work Experience: 8+ years of business accounting/finance in manufacturing or construction
Related Experience:
· Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role
· Experience contributing to high-impact strategy assignments
· Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
