TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Financial Analyst (Nonprofit) in Miami, FL for our client, supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and grant tracking within a nonprofit environment. This role focuses on budget management, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple programs and funding sources. The position requires strong Excel skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with leadership and operational teams.
Responsibilities as the Financial Analyst (Nonprofit):
Budget Management: Develop and maintain departmental and program budgets in partnership with internal teams.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to evaluate program performance, funding utilization, and operational trends.
Variance Reporting: Prepare budget-to-actual reports and analyze variances to support decision-making.
Grant Tracking: Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements and reporting standards.
Forecasting: Analyze financial trends and prepare forecasts based on operational and historical data.
Audit Support: Assist with audits, financial schedules, and compliance-related documentation.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst (Nonprofit):
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role is required.
Industry Knowledge: Experience within nonprofit or grant-funded environments is preferred.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling are required.
Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical thinking, organization, communication skills, and attention to detail are required.
