Location: Greater Seattle / Eastside, WA (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical, creative, and forward-thinking Financial Analyst who is passionate about building solutions and driving continuous improvement. This role is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and communicating critical financial data in support of strategic decision-making. Operating within a complex manufacturing environment, the Financial Analyst acts as a cross-functional partner, bridging the gap between operational activities and executive financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

?Report and analyze actuals, historical trends, and performance of bookings, sales, and margin against budget and forecast

?Track and analyze the financial performance of research & development programs, including upfront engineering and product development costs and, if applicable, any ASC 606 revenue recognition implications

?Partner with Accounting on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

?Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts

?Update assigned financial models with the latest actuals, assumptions, and business inputs

?Provide financial analysis in support of the annual strategic plan and key initiatives

?Support the creation of standard reporting packages

?Prepare and assemble financial presentation decks for monthly management reviews

?Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, templates, and tools

Qualifications

 

?Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field

?3+ years of relevant FP&A experience

?Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is required, including an understanding of how operational and production activities tie into financial reporting

?Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting one-time engineering and development costs for custom or new product programs (preferred)

?Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

?Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail

?High level of integrity, ownership, and willingness to learn

Additional Requirements

?Candidates must be U.S. citizens

?Candidates must be local to Washington State; relocation assistance is not offered for this position

?This is a hybrid role with a regular onsite presence required at the client’s Eastside location

?Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including cannabis screening

?Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range.
